Recently, our dear friends at the Discovery Institute held a conference at Southern Methodist University. For an organization that preached persistently how they have been censored, it speaks volumes for them to bully dissenters. Fred Phelps, WBC, and VA Tech Funerals

I'm glad to see that Fred Phelps and Co. can take times out of their busy schedule of protesting army funerals, blaming the lose of the soldier on God's wraith for a variety of nuances, to protest at the funerals of victims of the VA Tech violence. The protest is not for upping gun control or campus security; such noble causes are above Phelps and Co. It seems, rather, their only intent is to drive home their sole message:

"God is punishing America for her sodomite sins and for persecuting Westboro Baptist Church for warning America of her doom."

Indeed, Mr. Phelps. America is doomed, but not because of our sin nature. America is being held hostage by bad politicking and stupidity, something your co-patriots contribute to greatly.
